The physical office itself will need to be ready to meet your job share team's needs.
While you may have a joint office or cubicle even, there must be ample space for both of you to work in the space on your shared day/handover period.
If you have overlapping days you both work together in the office, you must have two computers to work on. You should also have individual business cards with both of your contact information.
For data security reasons, many companies will require you each to have an individual email. However, we highly suggest you have a joint email for all of your work correspondence and that you take on the "we" personality in terms of work completed when emailing stakeholders, even when one person is emailing.
We also suggest you do not use your names as your email address but a more generic email (for example [email protected]), in the event that one of you exits the partnership and another partner joins the remaining partner. Trust us, this will save A LOT of headaches down the line.
